#1000 HEAVY DUTY CLAY/STRIPPABLE
For Commercial Vinyls Over Primed Or Unprimed Surfaces
A premium grade, high solid content, clay based strippable adhesive for installing all types of commercial wallcoverings and other hard to hang wallcovering. Also, a strippable adhesive for installing fabric backed vinyls over bare, unprimed, unsealed drywall for removal at a later date without severe damage to the drywall. Adhesive must be thoroughly dried, 2-4 weeks depending on humidity and temperature, before strippability without wall damage is possible. High initial wet tack and holding power. Easy to spread and easy to clean up. Mold and mildew resistant. Suitable for use in all pasting machines.
SURFACE PREPARATIONS:
- Apply to clean, dry, structurally sound surface that is free of
grease, dirt, cleaning agents and old paste residue.
- Drywall: Will hang all weights of fabric backed vinyl over bare
drywall while insuring strippability at a later date without severe
damage to drywall surface. All other wallcoverings the drywall should
be sealed with suitable primer or sealer.
APPLICATION:
- Use adhesive as is for heavy wallcoverings. Add up to 10% water
to dilute for light and medium weight wallcoverings.
- Covers approximately 160 sq. ft./gal.
- Apply a thin coat of adhesive to wallcovering using a roller, brush, or pasting machine.
- Wash excess adhesive from seams and other areas with clean water before it dries.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Color: Light Tan
- Flammability: Non-Flammable
- Viscosity: 37,000-40,000 cps.
- Normal Storage Life: 1 year
- pH: 6.2 - 7.5

#4000 VINYL OVER VINYL CLAY/STRIPPABLE
Strippable adhesive for hanging new Vinyl over existing Vinyl without priming
A commercial grade Clay Based Strippable adhesive for hanging vinyl over vinyl that can be removed at a later date for remodeling without tearing all other vinyls off the wall. High initial wet tack and holding power. Easy to spread. Mold and mildew resistant. Suitable for use in all pasting machines.
SURFACE PREPARATIONS:
- Apply to clean, dry, structurally sound surface that is free of
grease, dirt, cleaning agents and old paste residue.
- Be certain existing vinyl wallcovering is firmly attached to the
wall. Repair any loose areas or seams.
- Before proceeding with any unusual conditions, consult your adhesive
and wallcovering supplier.
APPLICATION:
- Do not dilute. Use adhesive as supplied directly from the container.
- Apply a thin coat of adhesive to the back of the new wallcovering with a brush, roller, or pasting machine.
- Covers approx. 170 sq. ft./gal.
CLEAN-UP AND STORAGE:
- Be sure to remove excess adhesive with clean water before it dries.
Once dry, this adhesive is difficult to remove and may leave a stain
if adhesive residue is left on the surface.
- Store and use this adhesive at room temperature for best results.
- Keep container tightly closed when not in use.

#4100 NaMil-Trac® Wallcovering Adhesive
Developed exclusively for installing NaMil-Trac® Wallcovering. Note: Do not use any other adhesive to install NaMil-Trac® wallcovering or failure will occur. NaMil-Trac® adhesive was developed exclusively for installing NaMil-Trac® Wallcovering, which is a highly fungus and mildew resistant wallcovering. This premium grade clay based strippable adhesive will give excellent adhesion to the NaMil-Trac® backing. Use on drywall, painted surface, or over existing vinyl. Easy to spread. Mold and mildew resistant. Suitable for use in all pasting machines.
SURFACE PREPARATIONS:
- Apply to clean, dry, structurally sound surface that is free of
grease, dirt, cleaning agents and old paste residue.
- Glossy Surface: Degloss or prime with suitable primer.
- New Drywall: Can be used to install over bare drywall and be strippable at a later date.
If sealing wall is specified, seal with a suitable primer/sealer.
- Existing Vinyl: Be certain existing vinyl is firmly attached to the wall. Repair any loose areas with this adhesive.
- Before proceeding with any unusual conditions, consult with U.S. Vinyl Manufacturing Corporation.
APPLICATION:
- Use adhesive as is for heavy wallcovering. For light to medium weight wallcovering, can be diluted no more that 5%.
- Apply a thin coat of adhesive to wallcovering with a brush, roller, or pasting machine.
- Wash excess adhesive from seams and other areas with clean water before it dries. Washing seams in both vertical and horizontal directions are recommended.
- Use only when temperature is above 50 F.
- Covers approximately 220 sq. ft./gal. *when installing NaMil Trac wallcovering over smooth substrates.
